Trading Systems Application Specialist

Requirements

• Experienced Trading Systems Application Specialist with a combination of system administration and application expertise to support the operations team responsible for critical, high-availability stock exchange trading systems.
  
• Work closely with suppliers, trading teams, operations, development teams, and internal IT to ensure system stability, availability, and performance.
  
• Strong coordination and communication skills, experience leading activities, the ability to investigate issues and respond quickly to incidents, and a solid understanding of technical platforms and production environments.
  
• Support the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of critical stock exchange trading systems.
  
• Coordinate closely with suppliers, trading teams, operations, development teams, and internal IT.
  
• Lead, coordinate, and follow up on operational activities, investigations, and issue resolution.
  
• Respond promptly to incidents and situations requiring immediate attention.
  
• Collaborate with internal IT on server capacity, production configurations, and technical platform requirements.
  
• Manage incidents, releases, and changes in accordance with ITIL processes.
  
• Ensure effective communication, coordination, and follow-up across multiple ongoing activities.
  
• Proactively identify operational risks and opportunities for system improvements.
  
• Relevant academic or vocational qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
  
• Experience with stock exchange or securities trading systems such as Abasec, ProBroker, Infront, Millistream, or similar platforms.
  
• Experience with agile working methodologies.
  
• Proven experience leading people, coordinating activities, and monitoring progress.
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Proficiency in both Swedish and English.
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while working effectively as part of a team.
  
• Experience with ServiceNow and Azure DevOps.
  
• Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector.
  
• Background in software development or testing.
  
• Knowledge of securities trading and financial market operations.
  
• Experience in application support, system administration, incident management, and production operations.
