Join our procurement team at Siemens Energy and take an active role in securing a reliable and efficient supply chain for gas turbine component repairs. You will onboard and help qualify new suppliers, ensuring we meet the increasing demands of our operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes for our growing fleet’s efficiency and reliability, all while contributing to a sustainable energy future. Your efforts will help streamline our repair supply chain, making a real difference in our mission to deliver innovative energy solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will execute and coordinate tactical purchasing activities for gas turbine component repairs, focusing on blades, vanes, and combustion parts.
• Manage purchasing activities within the assigned supplier scope, including placing purchase orders and ensuring compliance with agreed commercial terms and conditions.
• Work closely with the Commodity Manager and Operative Purchasing to form a cohesive, high-performing procurement team, while acting as the tactical interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders such as Quality and Engineering.
• Maintain close contact with suppliers, following up on capacity, deliveries, and supplier performance.
• Plan and priorities purchasing activities based on changing demands, supplier capacity, and business needs, continuously adapting plans as new information becomes available.
• Turn priorities into concrete actions, proactively addressing delivery, cost, lead time, capacity, and supply chain risks.
• Onboard and help qualify new repair suppliers in collaboration with relevant functions to support capacity needs.

What You Bring

• At least 2 years of experience as a Tactical Buyer or in a similar role, combined with a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong analytical and planning skills, with a highly structured way of working and the ability to turn complex challenges into clear priorities and actions.
• A flexible and accountable mindset, demonstrating confidence in decision-making and adaptability to changing circumstances, along with proactive, collaborative communication skills to effectively engage with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
• Experience in SAP is an advantage.
• Knowledge or experience of repair processes for gas turbine parts and Service operations is an advantage.
