Asta Agency is partnering with the company in this recruitment process. The recruitment is managed by Asta Agency and you will be employed by Asta Agency with the ambition to be directly recruited by the company over time.

About the Role

This is a hands-on commercial role where you will own the quality of the order book the price the contracts beneath it and the health of the accounts that carry it. You will step into a function that is being rebuilt from the ground up and your first priority is not volume but margin: verifying the contract base leading repricing of work that is not priced to cost stabilising and reactivating the existing account base and opening the market to new customers once price is defensible.

You will establish commercial structure where there has not been one: a single source for price pipeline coverage and account status with a named owner on every account and clear decision rights on price. You will own the opportunity gate no proposal leaves without confirmed technical feasibility capacity quality and validated margin. You will work directly with the Managing Director on pricing and portfolio and you will be the companys dedicated commercial capability.

Alongside the commercial ownership you will maintain a proportionate delivery and project discipline sufficient to confirm that what is sold can actually be delivered within confirmed capacity without creating a standalone programme office.

Qualifications and Personal Qualities

You are a structured and driven sales professional who knows how to manage a client relationship end to end not just in attitude but in method. You know your game plan you understand how clients think and push back and you are comfortable navigating complex B2B environments where the sales cycle is long and the stakes are high. You bring both the commercial instinct and the discipline to build something that lasts.

You also bring:

• Proven experience in B2B sales preferably within pharma CDMO life sciences or contract manufacturing

• Strong key account management skills you can protect reactivate and grow an existing customer base

• Experience working with contract structures pricing mechanisms and margin analysis

• Ability to lead or support repricing negotiations building the evidence base that makes those conversations winnable

• Experience setting up or running a commercial cadence pipeline reviews account coverage pricing governance

• Ability to qualify opportunities and manage a proposal and bid process including feasibility alignment across functions

• Comfort working in a smaller organisation with limited support structures where you set the pace yourself

Meriting experience:

• Background in technology transfer product introduction or project management within a CDMO or pharma manufacturing environment

• Experience building or restructuring a commercial function from scratch

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to pharmaceutical contract manufacturing

• Experience working with or alongside a business controller on costing models and margin validation

• Leadership or coaching experience within a commercial team

• Start: According to agreement

• Location: Malmö with travels occasionally

• Scope: Full-time initially as a consultant via Asta Agency with the ambition of direct recruitment over time
