Project Manager (R&D)

We are now looking for a Project Manager to join our R&D team in Gothenburg.
About the Role
In the role you will lead complex high-impact development projects within our global R&D this role you will take ownership of end-to-end delivery ensuring projects are executed efficiently meeting quality standards and drive innovation across our product portfolio.
You will play a crucial role in strengthening project management practices and driving continuous improvement while mentoring colleagues and contributing to the development of both products and people.
As a Project Manager (R&D) you will:
Lead and coordinate cross-functional R&D projects across global teams (R&D Supply Marketing Regulatory & Legal)
Own end-to-end project delivery ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities
Ensure compliance with quality regulatory standards and internal development processes
Identify assess and mitigate project risks and compliance risks proactively
Plan execute and continuously improve project methodologies and ways of working
Drive collaboration and knowledge sharing across projects and teams
Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment across functions and leadership levels
Deliver clear reporting and strategic recommendations to steering committees
Your Profile
Experience & Background
Degree (BSc/MSc) in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or related field
5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Engineering team leader
Experience from product development of products including electronics mechanics and embedded SW
Experience from managing cross-functional projects in global environments
Certification in project management (e.g. PMP) is a plus.

You bring a strong combination of technical understanding and leadership capability including:
Experience and interest in project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira MS Project PLM/ALM tools)
Experience and interest in product development processes
Ability to manage complexity risk and change effectively
Excellent stakeholder management communication and influencing skills
Strong collaboration and conflict management capabilities
Blend of business acumen engineering interest and understanding of project impact on organizational success
