Senior Investment Manager Investment Director

We are looking for an experienced investment professional to join our European organisation and support our investment financing and strategic development activities across Europe.

This is a senior hands-on role for someone who combines strong transaction experience with sound commercial judgement and the ability to work effectively across functions cultures and markets.

The final title Senior Investment Manager or Investment Director will be determined based on the candidates experience and profile.

The Role

You will work closely with senior management our European organisation headquarters and external advisers. Your responsibilities will cover the full investment lifecycle from opportunity assessment and internal approval to transaction execution financing and post-investment management.

Investment Evaluation & Decision Support

• Lead feasibility assessments for potential investment opportunities.

• Prepare investment proposals financial analyses recommendations and decision materials for management.

• Assess strategic fit commercial potential financial returns and key risks.

• Coordinate stakeholders and support projects through internal governance and approval processes.

Investment Execution & Portfolio Management

• Participate in sourcing preliminary assessment due diligence valuation transaction structuring negotiation execution and closing.

• Coordinate commercial financial legal tax and technical due diligence.

• Support the preparation and negotiation of term sheets investment agreements shareholders agreements and other transaction documents.

• Participate in post-investment monitoring risk management and value-creation initiatives.

Financing & Capital Markets

• Support European financing activities including equity debt strategic investment project financing and other capital solutions.

• Build and maintain relationships with banks investment banks private equity funds industrial investors family offices and other capital partners.

• Support financing strategy development investor materials presentations and negotiations.

Market & Industry Research

• Monitor European capital markets transaction activity valuation trends and competitive developments.

• Conduct research across new energy lithium-ion batteries advanced manufacturing and related industrial sectors.

• Prepare investment analyses benchmarking studies and management presentations.

Cross-Border Collaboration

• Work closely with finance legal tax technical operations and business teams.

• Coordinate communication across the European organisation headquarters and external advisers.

• Ensure investment and financing activities are conducted in line with internal governance requirements and applicable European regulations.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with:

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in investment banking private equity corporate investment corporate finance transaction advisory or a comparable field.

• Strong experience in financial modelling valuation due diligence transaction structuring negotiation and execution.

• A solid understanding of European investment and financing markets and transaction practices.

• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to independently evaluate opportunities and identify key risks.

• Excellent stakeholder management analytical communication and presentation skills.

• The ability to prepare clear and well-structured investment memoranda financing proposals and decision materials.

• Fluent English with the ability to work effectively in an international and cross-cultural environment.

It Would Be an Advantage If You Have

• Experience in new energy lithium-ion batteries automotive advanced manufacturing industrial technology or related sectors.

• Experience supporting investment or financing transactions in an international or cross-border environment.

• An established network among European banks investors funds advisers or other capital-market participants.

• A strong understanding of European business practices and corporate decision-making processes.

• Experience working across different markets cultures and stakeholder groups.

• An academic background in finance economics accounting business administration law engineering or a related discipline.
