We are looking for a skilled and driven Cloud Engineer to join a fast-growing AI scale-up. About the role In this role, you will be responsible for designing, operating, and optimizing the company’s cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with development, ML/AI research, and product teams to ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and cost-efficient. The position combines hands-on responsibilities with strategic work – from infrastructure architecture to operations and monitoring. You will be part of a small but growing tech team, expected to take ownership, drive improvements, and contribute to how the platform is built and maintained. What you will be doing Design and implement cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) supporting AI workflows and ML services Ensure high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery Monitor performance, conduct capacity planning, and optimize costs Automate infrastructure and deployment processes (Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD) Set up and maintain security and access controls, networking, and policies in the cloud Collaborate with the ML team to ensure models run efficiently and at scale Drive and contribute to cross-functional initiatives for architecture, operations, and infrastructure standards We believe you have A relevant degree in computer science, engineering, or similar – or equivalent professional experience Several years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role, ideally with exposure to AI/ML infrastructure Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform/CloudFormation Solid knowledge of networking, security, and operations in cloud environments Proven track record of optimizing cost and performance in the cloud An analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and comfort working in fast-changing environments Fluent communication skills in English It’s a plus if you have experience from a fast-paced environment, SaaS, or project-based business models.
