Sherwin-Williams grundades i USA 1866. År 2010 förvärvades tidigare Becker Acroma som sedan dess ingår i Sherwin-Williamskoncernen. Idag är Sherwin-Williams ett globalt ledande företag inom färgbranschen med egen tillverkning, utveckling och försäljning. Globalt är vi över 63 000 medarbetare varav 330 i Sverige fördelade på fyra orter med tillverkning i Märsta och Bellö, centrallager i Nässjö samt med en helägd återförsäljare i Vaggeryd. I Sverige fokuserar vi på industriell ytbehandling av trä och metall där våra enheter utgör en central roll av vår totala försäljning i Europa.

Vi söker nu en arbetsledare för nattjänstgöring till Sherwin-Williams vid vår färgfabrik i Märsta. Som arbetsledare har du det övergripande ansvaret för hela produktionslinan vilket innebär ansvar för säkerhet, kvalitet, service, kostnad och personal.

Det är en heltidstjänst med arbete vardagsnätter. Eftersom arbetet utförs på natten är arbetstiden också förkortad. Observera att du kommer genomgå en nyanställningsundersökning inför anställning vilket . innefattar alkohol- och drogtest. Det är en tillsvidareanställning som föregås av 6 månaders visstidsanställning. Tillträde omgående eller när så är möjligt.

• The enforcement of safe systems of work and holding those below them in the management structure accountable for their health and safety performance.
• The provision of safe equipment, safe working environment and ensuring all employees / contractors are provided with and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Ensure that employees within their departments are adequately informed, instructed, trained and supervised to safely carry out work for which they are engaged.
• Ensure a safe working environment, striving for zero recordable injuries in compliance with internal policies and external legislation, through the delivery of key enabling activities (. Near Misses, Safety Observations, timely completion of actions). Ensure that safety and environmental incidents are fully investigated and the appropriate countermeasures established.
• Manage the Production operations ensuring efficiency and the production schedule is achieved.
• Team members to be deployed and supervised effectively.
• Operating standards must be monitored and any necessary changes initiated.
• Operator ‘dead time’ is closely monitored and any possible reductions initiated.
• Team members are sufficiently empowered to take appropriate responsibility.
• The Supervisor should bring critical issues to the Production / Operation Manager’s attention and assist in providing solutions to those issues.
• Also, responsible for escalating and resolving issues quickly and efficiently in the absence of the Production / Operation Manager
• Cover is provided in the absence of other Supervisors.
• Recommendations to plant, equipment and working practices are developed and effectively communicated to management.
• Team members are effectively trained and encouraged to achieve improved performance.
• Previous supervisory experience and / or qualifications
• Educated to Secondary or High School standard, passing the appropriate exams
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, coaching and negotiating skills.
• Values strong team work.
• Numerically astute with the ability to analyse data and drive the appropriate action
• A strong customer focus
• Advanced PC skills essential
• Fluent English
