Headford Group is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for an Air or Ocean Business Development Manager to join our esteemed client’s team in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Position :  Air or Ocean Business Development Manager

Salary :  SEK 600,000 – SEK 900,000 per annum + bonus + benefits

Location :  Gothenburg, Sweden

Employment Type :  Permanent

As an Air and Ocean Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our client’s customer base and driving business growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with existing clients. Your expertise in Air and Ocean Freight Forwarding will be essential in providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and engage potential customers, building lasting relationships.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure profitable business.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Air and Ocean Freight Forwarding market and industry regulations.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager in the Air and Ocean Freight Forwarding industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of Air and Ocean Freight Forwarding processes, regulations, and market trends.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a competitive market.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Flexibility to travel as required.
