eir evo talentSweden, SwedenWe are seeking an experienced Lead QAQC (Electrical) to join a dynamic team providing high-value engineering services across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on major projects in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, data centers, and power transmission and distribution. Role Purpose As the Project Quality Control Lead, you will provide leadership and expertise in quality control deliverables and ensure project conformance. You will collaborate with project teams to achieve system turnover, manage first-of-kind projects, and lead system walkdowns. No Visa support provided. You must be based in the EU or UK. Key Responsibilities Lead by example in ethics, EHS, cultural sensitivity, diversity, teamwork, and quality culture. Build strong working relationships with cross-functional departments, supply chain partners, and client stakeholders. Develop and maintain Project Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans to ensure compliance, updating as necessary. Plan and execute system walkdowns aligned with project timelines, managing a team of inspectors. Define system limits or boundaries for test packs, ensuring contents are tracked and agreed upon. Review construction methodologies, assess offsite manufacturing capabilities, and develop inspection matrices for offsite and onsite inspections. Oversee inspection checklists and ensure snag closure before system walkdowns, with documented acceptance by stakeholders. Monitor defect and snag trends across projects, providing performance reports and identifying areas for improvement. Implement and monitor a "First of Kind" benchmarking program, tracking installation progress and quality. Proactively identify improvement opportunities and create actionable plans to enhance project performance. Provide regular reports on the Quality Control Program, highlighting performance, risks, and trends. Ideal Candidate Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years experience in quality management, preferably in a data center environment. Knowledge of industry standards relevant to project scopes. Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. ISO9001 Internal or Lead Auditor certification and experience. Strong skills in scoping, planning, and executing risk reviews. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills. Capable of implementing quality control processes and procedures effectively. Preferred Competencies Willingness to travel as required. Previous experience in data center projects. Background in trades or hands-on trades experience is advantageous.
