Deutsche Rentenversicherung Rheinland is a provider of statutory pension insurance in Germany. For our IT service provider, Deutsche Rentenversicherung NOW IT GmbH, we are looking for several people in the Application Development division, Competence Center Development Core Systems 4, at the Düsseldorf site at the earliest possible date.

Application developer Java (f / m / d)

Your tasks as a software developer (f / m / d) :

• New and further development of applications in modern working methods (agile, according to Scrum) and programming languages (Java, Angular) in the Linux and Windows environment
• Designing sophisticated technical concepts and analyzing functional and / or technical requirements of the application software to implement legal requirements in areas such as pensions and insurance
• Advising customers on the collection and implementation of their requirements
• Carrying out quality assurance measures
• Establishing deployment processes in cooperation with IT operations
• Collaboration in project or working groups

Your qualification :

You have a degree in computer science from a university of applied sciences or a comparable degree. Alternatively, you have relevant vocational training and appropriate professional experience.

Above all, it is important that you feel at home in application development and are familiar with a programming language such as Java. You are familiar with Jira, Bitbucket and a version management system such as Git. You are also familiar with relational database systems such as Oracle.
