Job Description

The Product Manager will support the Business Unit in developing long term competitive strategies for the Paslodeproduct range in the Nordic region. This involves supporting and managing a portfolio of products andproviding continuous intelligence on product performance and customer attitudes, in terms of Distribution Channels and Trade End Users in each of the Nordic markets.

The Product Manager will support the products at internal and external customers, with competitor profiling and coordinating product improvements and new product development field testing.

Reporting to the Nordic Product Manager, you will work closely with the Commercial team. In this role you are a functional product expert, responsible for translating deep customer and market insights into differentiated marketing action plans and sales support. This role acts as a brand and product expert both internally and externally.

Primary responsibilities :

  • Acts as the ultimate Nordic end market advocate within the business unit.
  • Promote the “voice of customer” / ”opportunity evaluation” by visiting Trades on jobsites and Channel Partners across the Nordics to improve the understanding of their needs
  • In collaboration with the Nordic Product Manager, develops a clear and compelling product / innovation road map that achieves short term and long-term business goals.
  • Build a clear and compelling overview of Jobs to be Done for wood-to-wood fastening by country, to identify new opportunities for growth
  • Demonstrates the ability to look ahead and anticipate future customer / market trends based on outside in research

Product

  • Identify new opportunities for the Paslode productrange in the market in association with theNordic Product Manager.
  • Research

  • Identify Customer Journey Map for identified Paslode segments in order to adjust Marketing strategy for Paslode to ensure growth
  • Support new product development with product testing with end users in the Nordics, innovation ideas, to validate any ideas for Paslode growth
  • Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing or equivalent strategic marketing experience
  • Strong IT & Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
  • Great communicator with a creative mindset thatcan apply an analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Culturally aware with some international experience preferred.
  • Passion for product and industry
  • Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally
