Product Designer

Anyfin ABNorrmalm, Stockholm

Jobbeskrivning

Anyfin is on a mission to change millions of financial lives for the better. Since our start over six years ago we have been doing this one customer at a time with user experience and design at the core of our offering. But we aim higher; new customers, products and new design. That is why we are currently looking for a UI Designer to join our Design team. But if you’re reading this you already knew that, so let's get to the good stuff…

What you will be doing

Your focus will be on creating intuitive, user-centric solutions that align with our mission of assisting our customers and users to manage their finances in the best possible way at all times. This means a lot of collaboration between your team and the Product, Marketing and Engineering teams as well as our Customer service teams in all four markets that we service. But any company could have stated that, so what makes this role different?

Well, for one we always adopt a hypothesis-driven design approach, utilizing data and user feedback to inform our design decisions. Secondly you get to do it in an organization where the products actually matter to the users. We´re not saying that parcel delivery or podcasts aren’t important, we’re just claiming that someone’s personal financial debts trump those products in need for clarity and ease of use. Thirdly, and perhaps most importantly, you will have the opportunity to do all this in an organization that since day one has put the users in the front seat. So let's just say that this isn’t your run of the mill Design job…

Who you are

We are looking for someone with a strong passion for visual excellence and user experience who wants to be hands-on in the day to day. That means that you are the type of person who inspires your team and the organization at large to innovate and think outside of that dreaded box everyone keeps talking about. Then there are the dreaded bullet points that take up space in any job ad. BUT they do serve a purpose, so here they are : “We would like to see evidence of the following in your background : ”

A proven track record as a product designer in a fast-paced tech environment, preferably within the fintech, medtech or insurtech industry - I.e. you have designed B2C products that matter to users. - The length of your experience is less important to us, the mentality that you bring to the table will however make ALL the difference.

Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of successful design projects and demonstrating a user-centered design approach.

The ability to articulate and present design concepts effectively and with passion.

Knowledge of UX / UI best practices and the ability to stay updated on industry trends.

If you can showcase some awesome motion designs we won’t hold it against you, but more importantly you are the type of person who can quickly prototype three or four different solutions to a design problem and get input from others into which way to go. After that the accountability and ownership will be all yours so… you know… kill your darlings, stand up for what you believe in etc…

What we offer

We offer you the chance to be part of something truly amazing. You will get the chance to work alongside colleagues that are ridiculously passionate about users and their experience with our products (sometimes a blessing, sometimes an uphill battle NGL). Furthermore we promise that you will be challenged, pushed to develop and given the opportunity to work on stuff that actually matters.

Then there is the compensation package, centrally located cozy office, extra time off on your birthday and a bunch of other benefits as well. But we will get to all that in due time. For now begin your journey with us by clicking "Apply" below. We cannot wait to meet you!

TLDR? Well that was a test! If you made it this far you have the kind of perseverance and grit we are looking for. CONGRATULATIONS!

No seriously we just had too much fun writing this ad, please don’t think less of us and please, please still apply.
