Account Manager to Lignin Industries

We´re looking for a dedicated account manager to find and maintain client accounts and serve as main point of contact. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a drive for providing exceptional customer service.

Lignin Industries is a young, innovative, and fast-growing company in the biotech sector. The company has patented a revolutionary technology transforming lignin, the most abundant unused biopolymer on earth, into a renewable and functional biomaterial replacing fossil-based plastics. The innovative technology has been selected for several fundings to support Lignin Industries expansion, such as European Innovation Fund, Swedish Energy Agency & Vinnova (Sweden´s innovation agency) for its superior potential to reduce CO2 emissions.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED :

  • Find new potential customers and identify new business opportunities.
  • Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs.
  • Communicate with potential & existing customers via telephone, email, and on-site visits.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any client updates.
  • Work with the sales team and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients.
  • Attend relevant conferences and trade shows.

In this role you will work as part of a cross-functional team. The role involves regular travel within Europe.

YOUR PROFILE

You love learning and keeping it simple :

  • You have succeeded as a salesperson - we believe that you have worked in B2B and it is great if you have experience in complex sales processes.
  • You have excellent communication & people skills.
  • You are independent and you structure your days in order to suit the customers, they are the most important thing you have and should feel prioritized.
  • You have an analytical mind, a high level of structure, and the ability to strategize and solve problems.
  • You will succeed in this role if you are :

    Qualifications

  • BSc in Economics or Engineering, or other equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and receiving positive customer feedback.
  • Proficiency with common customer success and customer relationship management software, such as HubSpot.
  • Communicates fluently both written and oral in English. Swedish and German language skills are meritorious.

    Location : Hybrid, our office is located in Knivsta, Sweden.

    Type of work : Full-time Monday-Friday.
