As part of thedevelopment of Newrest Scandinavia, we are now recruiting a Customs Specialistbased in Stockholm.

The CustomsSpecialist will be an important cog for Sweden, Denmark and Norway when itcomes to customs issues for these countries. Duties included in the role as setout below, but not limited to.

MISSION :

• Re-examine andverify customs declarations
• Investigate and assess tax risks
• Monitor new customs legislation, and investigate the legislation'sconsequences for Newrest
• Participate in any projects aimed at improving work processes and businesssystems that affect tax reporting
• Coordinate contacts with Swedish Customs and its representatives
• Follow up compliance with permit requirements
• Properly manage Newrest customs processes and ensure compliance with customs procedures
• Acting as a support and advisor to colleagues and clients
• Handle complex customs declarations
• Work with post-checks of customs declarations
• Report and rectify deviations

Perfil

We are looking for someone who has a degree in law or economics, and has at least 5 years of experience working with customs issues from a larger company, accounting firm or authority. If you also have experience in the food industry and / or the aviation industry, we see it as a merit.

Furthermore, we see that you master Excel and have good knowledge of Swedish and English both in speech and writing.

We see that you have solid knowledge of rules of origin and free trade agreements.

Accuracy and organizational ability are necessary to successfully complete your assignments. You are dynamic and know how to manage priorities. You are used to working in an international environment and are looking for a challenging position in a growing company.

CONTRACT : Permanent employment, with 6-month probationary period.

LOCATION : Stockholm
