Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing master data processes within SAP systems. This role involves ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and governance, and working closely with various departments to maintain data quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP MDM tools and methodologies, as well as a thorough understanding of SAP modules and data structures.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement master data management strategies and policies.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all SAP systems.
Collaborate with business units to define master data requirements and standards.
Design and execute data governance frameworks to maintain high data quality.
Monitor and audit data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Provide expertise in SAP MDM tools, including configuration and customization.
Train and support end-users on master data management processes and best practices.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for MDM processes and procedures.
Stay up-to-date with SAP MDM tools, technologies, and best practices.

Preferred additional skills, personal traits and experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management.

Proficiency in SAP MDM tools and technologies (e.g., SAP MDG, SAP Data Services).

Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI / CO, MM, SD, HCM) and data structures.

Experience with data governance and data quality management.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Qualifications :

SAP certification in Master Data Management or relevant modules.

Experience with SAP S / 4HANA Master Data Management.

Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.

Familiarity with data migration processes and tools.
